Meet Jenni-Ann
Teacher with over 15 years experience
Learning doesn’t have to look the same for every child — or every family. With years of experience as a senior teacher, I’ve seen first-hand how children thrive when learning is designed around their individual strengths, interests, and pace. Whether your family is on the road exploring the world, or learning from home, I believe education should feel meaningful, connected, and never like a chore.

My approach blends structure and flexibility — grounded in evidence-based practices where they matter most, and guided by curiosity and creativity everywhere else. I’m passionate about supporting families who want something different for their children, but aren’t quite sure where to begin or go next. Sometimes, all it takes is the right plan, a little confidence, and a helping hand. I’d love to walk alongside you on that journey — because it truly takes a village to educate a child.

While travelling, I met many families trying to make “school” fit into life on the road — and quickly saw how difficult that could be. That experience confirmed what I had already seen in classrooms: school isn’t always the best fit for every learner or every lifestyle. Some children — particularly those who are neurodivergent, have learning difficulties, or simply need a gentler, more engaging approach — learn best when teaching adapts to them. Building positive relationships and truly understanding what your child can do, and what comes next, can transform how they see themselves as learners. My goal is to help families find that clarity, confidence, and joy in their child’s learning journey.

Over the years, I’ve continued to build my professional knowledge in literacy, numeracy, and effective teaching through training in programs such as Sounds-Write, Sound Waves, LEM Phonics, Heggerty, Reading Training (Education QLD), Back-to-Front Maths, Visible Learning (Corwin), and Impact Coaching. These approaches shape how I tailor support for each child and family — blending proven strategies with flexibility, empathy, and a whole-child perspective.
